QueenCity Detailer – Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 15th, 2025
By booking a service with QueenCity Detailer, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Appointments & Rescheduling
All services must be scheduled directly through QueenCity Detailer. Walk-ins are not accepted.
Same-day appointments may be available, but must still be booked in advance — please reach out first to confirm availability.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you give at least 12 hours’ notice out of courtesy and to help us manage our schedule.
No-shows or repeat last-minute cancellations may be denied future service.
Services will be completed in the order that best fits our workflow and quality standards. While we’ll do our best to honor timing requests, final service order is at our discretion to ensure the best possible results for each vehicle.
2. Vehicle Condition & Pricing
All listed prices are starting points and reflect vehicles in average condition.
Final pricing may vary based on:
Vehicle size (sedan, SUV, truck, etc.)
Level of dirtiness (e.g., heavy pet hair, stains, excessive debris, oxidation, or bug/tar buildup)
Special requests or add-on services
Any necessary price adjustments will be discussed and approved before service begins.
If a vehicle is significantly more contaminated or damaged than expected, we may recommend a different package or service level to achieve the best results.
Specialized services such as ceramic coatings or odor elimination may require additional preparation, materials, or time. These services are priced based on vehicle condition and service scope, and may include maintenance recommendations or disclaimers when applicable.
A deposit may be requested for certain services, particularly high-end or time-intensive jobs, to secure your appointment and cover preparation costs.
3. Liability & Personal Belongings
While we take great care in every detail, QueenCity Detailer is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to the vehicle’s interior, exterior, or mechanical components.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Scratches, chips, swirl marks, or faded/oxidized paint
Cracked or worn interior trim, leather, or plastic
Loose emblems, trim, mirrors, or aftermarket modifications
Pre-existing electrical, electronic, or mechanical malfunctions
Some areas, like engine bays or headliners, may carry a higher risk of damage. If service is requested in those areas, the customer accepts full responsibility for any damage that may occur as a result of the cleaning process.
We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items left in the vehicle. Please remove all belongings before your appointment, including valuables, electronics, and child car seats when possible.
Aftermarket electronics, alarms, dash cams, or custom wiring are not covered under any form of liability.
If a vehicle is held overnight, it will be stored in a locked, secure private garage. However, the customer understands and agrees that QueenCity Detailer is not liable for theft, vandalism, fire, or other unforeseen incidents beyond our control while the vehicle is in our possession.
Customers are responsible for maintaining valid insurance coverage on their vehicle at all times, including during service and storage.
By leaving a vehicle in our care, the customer acknowledges and accepts that the vehicle is stored at their own risk, and QueenCity Detailer does not act as an insurer.4. Satisfaction Guarantee
We take pride in the quality of our work and strive to meet or exceed expectations with every detail.
If you are not satisfied with any part of your service, please notify us within 12 hours of pickup or delivery.
We will make reasonable efforts to address any concerns, including touch-ups or adjustments when appropriate.
Because detailing results can vary based on vehicle condition, age, materials, and previous damage, perfection cannot be guaranteed, but we will always aim for the highest professional standard.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Add-On & Specialty Services
Certain services such as ceramic coatings, odor elimination, paint correction, and engine bay detailing may require additional time, preparation, and materials.
These services are more complex and may have variable pricing depending on vehicle size and condition.
Some add-ons may involve extended cure times, overnight storage, or follow-up care instructions, which will be communicated ahead of time.
While we use professional-grade products and follow best practices, results may vary based on factors outside of our control, including the vehicle's condition, prior damage, and environmental exposure.
The durability and performance of any protective coating or service depends on proper maintenance. If the vehicle is not maintained accordingly, the product may not last the advertised lifespan.
In some cases, a deposit may be required to schedule these services.
6. Payment
Payment is due immediately after the service is completed.
Accepted payment methods: cash, debit/credit cards, Zelle, and Cash App.
Failure to pay at the time of service may result in denial of future appointments and/or late fees.
QueenCity Detailer reserves the right to pursue legal action or collection services for unpaid balances.
Invoices or receipts are available upon request.
7. Right to Decline Service
QueenCity Detailer reserves the right to refuse or cancel service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Unsafe or unsanitary vehicle conditions (e.g., biohazards, infestations, mold, etc.)
Aggressive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior
Vehicles with damage that may worsen during cleaning
Missed appointments or repeated last-minute cancellations
If a service is declined after vehicle inspection, any deposit paid may be forfeited to cover time or material costs.
This policy ensures the safety of our team and helps maintain the quality standards expected by all of our clients.
8. Media & Marketing
QueenCity Detailer may take before and after photos or videos of vehicles for marketing, educational, or portfolio purposes.
These may be shared on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Google, YouTube, or our website.
We make every effort to avoid capturing license plates or personal belongings in photos or videos. If you have concerns about privacy, please let us know before your appointment.
Clients who prefer their vehicle not be photographed or shared may opt out by informing us in advance.
9. Vehicle Condition Disclosure & Limitations
Customers are expected to provide accurate information about their vehicle's size, condition, and any known issues prior to the appointment.
If the actual condition differs significantly from what was communicated (e.g., excessive pet hair, stains, unknown spills, or biohazards), the service may be repriced, adjusted, or rescheduled at our discretion.
Excessive pet hair, staining, or contamination may require additional time, tools, and cleaning agents. These issues often cannot be fully removed, and results may vary based on severity, material type, and how long the issue has been present.
Intake forms, photos, or questions may be requested before service to help ensure proper preparation and expectations.
10. Agreement to Terms
By scheduling a service with QueenCity Detailer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions listed above. These policies are in place to protect both the client and the business, and to ensure the highest quality service and professionalism.
